POSITION TITLE: Level I Technician, Field

POSITION OVERVIEW:

ADB is seeking a Level I Technician, Field to provide critical field data within the OSP Engineering department for various utility construction projects within a market. This position will visit OSP utility construction job sites and perform quality assurance, inspection, survey, and verification support to provide critical data for the OSP Engineering team. The ideal candidate will be safety focused, have a high level of attention to detail, customer, and quality centric, with a strong work ethic and ALL IN attitude.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs field technician functions for various OSP construction projects including but not limited to; QAQC, inspections, surveys, design verification, etc.Utilizes ARCGIS applications to collect large amount of data from the field and uploads to GIS systemsHas the ability to physically climb in manholes, walk construction routes for utility locating, and create butterfly diagramsVerify existing duct utilizing rod and ropingWorks with local owners and municipalities to gain access to various jobsitesCollects visual and GIS data to support make ready surveysAbility to read and interpret construction drawings and engineering design plansProvides various reporting on data collected when requestedPerforms other job duties when requested by leadership

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
2+ years of field telecommunications experiencePrevious experience in an OSP QAQC, locating, inspecting position preferred but not requiredMust have a valid license with a clean driving record, ability to drive a company vehicle requiredHigh School diploma or equivalent required
